OKAA Goals

To promote the ongoing development of school-age care as a profession.

To initiate and assist in the networking and information exchange among professionals working with school age children.

To provide and share information about staff development/training for school-age professionals.

To promote awareness and increase involvement of the policymakers, families and public about the need for quality school age care.

To nurture the ongoing development of school age care on the local, state and national level.

To actively participate in the support of the National Afterschool Association.
